Our caring and dedicated volunteers walk alongside riders during lessons, lead horses, or help with barn-related tasks. 

Qualifications include:

  • Must be 14 years of age or older

  • No experience is necessary; training is provided

  • Commitment to attend class each week for the length of a session, typically 2 hours per week for 10-12 weeks

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with grooming and tacking

  • Assist with supporting the rider during mounting and dismounting

  • Walk next to the rider throughout the class

  • Help the rider follow directions given by the instructor

  • Assist with equine care after the lesson
